  1. Open MS Word on your PC.
  2. In this step, you need to create a new Word document you can easily create. Click the option of a blank document.
  3. A Blank Page will open on your screen with showing various tabs of MS Word at the top of the screen.
  4. The various tab that is offered by MS Word on the top of the screen is- File, insert, home, draw, Design layout references mailings Review, view, and help.
  5. Click the Home tab. Look for the select option which is placed at the top right side of the screen.
  6. You can also click Ctrl+A. this will select the whole content of the document.
  7. Now you need to write the highlighted text. a drop-down menu will appear on your screen. It will show various options like cut copy paste font paragraph block authors synonyms translate link and new comment. Click the option of copy.

  9. Now you need to open the second-word document where you want to merge the files. Look in the document where you want to search the first file.
  10. Now you need to click Ctrl+Enter. This will add a new page along with a page break for the document you have just copied. You can also place the cursor on the screen and click the enter key which will automatically insert a line break.
  11. After adding the page break you need to right-click anywhere and select the paste option. You can paste the copied content in between the text of the second-word file or at the bottom of the second-word file.
  12. Now all the content that you have copied from the first file will automatically paste into the new page without changing the formatting pattern.
