The important criteria for this method is the rooting of your device. It means giving permission to download and install data from untrusted/external sources. But it is a proven method of changing your WhatsApp storage to SD card.

1. Download a secure version of XInternalSD apk.
2. Once done then install the apk.

4. Enable the option of setting a custom path for the SD card.
5. Tap on the path to the internal SD Card.
6. Change the path to an external SD card.
